The leaderboard ranks by who paid the most. We rank by what a click actually cost — lifetime dollars over lifetime clicks, for every listing outbid.lol publishes click counts on.
outbid.lol publishes each top listing's lifetime paid total and lifetime click count. We read the public page every 5 minutes — one request, nothing behind a login — and divide one by the other.
Lifetime dollars over lifetime clicks. It is not the "clicks" counter on outbid.lol's rows (that one resets with bids). Lower is a better deal. It says nothing about what those clicks were worth to the buyer.
outbid.lol only publishes click counts for its top spenders — the long tail of the board can't be deal-ranked. If a figure looks wrong, it gets re-read and corrected; we don't take money to change a number.
